#HP-TI-PRGUSB:
Hyperion TITAN USB/SERIAL 4-Pin Adapter
Cable
Applications:
1) All TITAN MOTOR CONTROLLERS (ESC)
2) Emeter v1 and RDU*
3) EOS 06xxi CHARGERS to PC Port for:
*EOS0610i NET and DUO - Firmware upgrades and PC
Software
*EOS0606i DC and AC/DC - EOS INSIGHT PC Software
USING the TI-PRGUSB ADAPTER :
TITAN ESC
* Whenever connecting the PRGUSB Adapter, be sure that GRD/V+/Tx/Rx
orientation is correct.
* For TITAN ESC, note that the "blanked" pin on the adapter connector is
always next to GRD
*The Adapter supplies power to the TITAN ESC, so a battery pack must NOT be
connected to the TITAN ESC during programming.
EMETER v1
*HP-TI-PRGUSB cannot be connected
directly to EMETER v1. You must first insert the adapter for Emeter, which is
included with every USB TI-PRGUSB. (pictured above, at bottom right of photo)
*For EMETER v1, note that you MUST turn Emeter ON
first, then connect TI-PRGUSB to Emeter, when using Emeter PC Data
Software.
(otherwise, you will see a "low battery" warning from Emeter...)
RDU (Remote Data Unit) uses HP-TI-PRGUSB alone (no adapter harness is
needed)
EOS CHARGERS
*HP-TI-PRGUSB cannot be connected
directly to EOS Chargers. A wiring
harness/extension is needed between the charger and USB Adapter:
#HP-EOS06-PCCBL
harness for PC Logging and Firmware Update:
EOS0610i-NET
EOS0610i-DUO
EOS0720i-NET
EOS0610i-DUO2
#HP-EOS0606-PCCBL
harness for PC Logging Only
EOS0606i-AD (ac/dc, all versions)
EOS0606i (dc, all versions)
Note that only the hardware v3 Series EOS Chargers (0720i-NET3, DUO3, etc)
do NOT need the TI-PRGUSB adapter, nor harness. They have built-in USB
and cable. They do, however, need the same driver.

#HP-PCCABLE: (DISCONTINUED
PRODUCT)
Hyperion TITAN SERIAL 4-Pin Adapter
Cable,
connected to a PC Serial Port. A Battery Pack of 6 to 10 cells NiMH (or 2S~3S li-po) must
be connected to the TITAN ESC Main Input (Red/Black) wires during ESC
programming, when using Serial HP-PCCABLE, no matter with or without a USB adapter
attached between PCCABLE and PC.
HP-PCCABLE is Serial, so no driver is required. PC must have a free
9-pin serial port, and have the port enabled in CMOS setup.
Applications:
1) All TITAN MOTOR CONTROLLERS (ESC)
2) Emeter v1 |
Connectivity Notes:
* HP-PCCABLE (serial) is NOT a simple cable. It contains needed
conversion chip for raw
to TTL serial, and the chip is a special low-draw type to reduce load on
Emeter battery.
* If you have HP-PCCABLE (serial) and want to use it on a PC which has no
SERIAL Port, you will need a standard USB-to-Serial adapter, such as #HP-EM-USBADAP,
pictured on right.
*If you have Emeter v1, you can use simple cable #HP-EM-TITANCABLE
to program TITAN ESC directly from Emeter, without Personal Computer.
* Emeter II will program TITAN ESC Servos directly from Emeter II,
with the cable supplied in the box.
* Emeter II will program ATLAS Servos directly from Emeter, without
intermediate cable (or use plain servo extension cable, as needed)
