This latest I/O Expansion Board for Arduino v5 is now supporting Xbee. It combines manufacturer's popular Xbee shield with IO expansion shield. It even supports SD card which provides the ultimate functional expansion for Arduino so far. As its predecessor, it supports Bluetooth communication and the servo control.
The combined XBee Shield is a compliant solution designed to meet low-cost, low power wireless sensor networks with special needs. The module is easy to use, low power consumption, and the provision of critical data between devices reliable transmission. The establishment of RF communication does not require any configuration and the module's default configuration supports a wide range of data system applications.
